Why do i need to know Reiki ?

A few of my friends told me after reading my previous posts in this blog "Nimisha tera bolg padh ke essa lagta hai ke kuch ho na ho, Boy friend ke saath agar healthy realtion chahiye toh Reiki sikhlo"

Well it’s a total co-incident that, boy friend and Reiki in my life almost came together. And to explain my initial experiences with Reiki I had to speak about him.

“ Do I really need Reiki? ” is a question any one would ask before starting to learn it.  To answer this I would say: Reiki is not a medicine, which we need only when we are not keeping well. It is a way to avoid all the illness that will be coming in life. Don’t we clean our house every day ??? or we wait for the insects to start breeding and then we shall clean our house. It is exactly like that, why wait to fall ill ??? why wait for the doctor to say you better start taking care of your body.

Reiki helps you heal you inner body by healing your Charkras explaining what they are in short. there are 7 Chakras in are body they are;

Crown Chakra.

Also known as: Cosmic Consciousness Center, "I AM" Center, Sahasrara

Location: Top of the head

Color: Violet

Parts of the body: This Chakra is associated with the top of the head, the brain, and the entire nervous system

Endocrine Gland: Pineal Gland. It is also known as the CPU of our body.

Third Eye: Agya Chakra.

Location: Center of the forehead, Commanding ability is supported by this.

Color: Indigo, Midnight Blue

Parts of the body: This Chakra is associated with the forehead and temples, with the carotid plexus

Endocrine Gland: Pituitary Gland

Throat Chakra; Vishudhi Chakra

Location: Base of the throat

Color: Sky blue

Parts of the body: This chakra controls the throat and the neck, and the arms and the hands. It is associated with the brachial or cervical plexus.

Sense: Sense of Hearing

Endocrine Gland: Thyroid Gland

Heart Chakra; Anahat Chakra.

Location: Center of the chest

Color: Emerald Green

Parts of the body: This Chakra is associated with the heart and the blood circulatory system, and the cardiac plexus, as well as the lungs and the entire chest area.

Endocrine Gland: Thymus Gland, controlling the immune system.

Manipur Chakra;

Location: Solar plexus

Color: Yellow

Parts of the Body: The parts of the body associated with this chakra include the muscular system, the skin as a system, the solar plexus, the large intestine, stomach, liver, and other organs and glands in the region of the solar plexus. Also the eyes, as the organs of sight, and the face, representing figuratively the face one shows the world.

Endocrine Gland: The pancreas

Swadhisthan Chakra; Hara Chakra.

Location: The center of the abdomen

Color: Orange

Parts of the body: Reproductive system, sexual organs, lumbar plexus

Endocrine gland: Gonads

Muladhar Chakra; Root Chakra.

Location: The perineum, the point between the anus and the sex organs

Color : Red

Parts of the body: Lymph system, skeleton system (teeth and bones), the prostate gland in men, the sacral plexus, the bladder and elimination system, and the lower extremities (legs - feet, ankles , etc.) Also the nose, since it is the organ of the sense of smell, and associated with survival.

Endocrine gland: Adrenal glands

Once these are healed rather the appropriate word would be balanced,  we get a healthy body. So in order keep our body healthy wealthy and wise we should know Reiki :) 

Why do I call it white magic ?

             So far Reiki was just that one thing which was very badly needed in my life. I was in Junior college first year,  I have no idea how but I was known as one of the good looking girl in there. (I Cant stop laughing at it today)...... but, getting back to the topic. I Thought, I could change every one in the world. And can do Reiki on any one. Oh I dint tell about the second degree. 

           Second degree is distance healing. In first degree you are restricted to heal a person only if he/she is in front of you. But second degree anything / anyone / anywhere in the universe can be healed. all you should have is a positive intention. " Please do not ever try to harm some one through Reiki ". 

          I Thought I could change every one...... Every time I fought with someone, I sat and did his Reiki..... I had no idea what I was doing..... I was just being selfish and rigid to the fact that I can play God now.... I am never wrong. this got me to a situation that I was left all alone. A person like me dint have friends in college..... This also was chosen by me.  I one fine day stopped talking to my friends. I was no where happy..... I Cried more than any one could but, Still my ego dint go down. I stubborn that if they come and try talking to me only then I would. But I no where gave them chance to do so.  

          This went on for a long long time. Finally one day when we were doing Reiki at home. I Started crying, dint wanted to cry but had no control...... Finally had to tell my dad about what exactly was happening. That was time when I learned one major lesson in life. YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOURSELF..... you have to learn to accept and let go things. 

         Things with friends did come to normal, but as you say in hindi "kutte ki doum tedhi ki tedhi". There was another chapter of my life, which made me understand what is Reiki and this time it was Crystal Clear. I Use to like this guy from the Senior section. Started talking to him also started getting so called serious about him. And one day I get to know he has a girl friend + is not very happy with her.

            WOW I had a chance to use my powers again, and this time I had a positive intension which was "Its good for both of us, he is any way not happy with her". I started doing Reiki that he breaks up with her...... Things were just going the way I wanted..... but as I said earlier, You can really not harm any one through Reiki it comes back to you.  After 2 months i started having fights with him and one day we broke up......  

     

           I Never understood my intension was to harm someone's relation. No one can become God. We have to face our part of problems in life. If the guy did not love me, I was just suppose to accept the fact and move on..... Not stick to the fact "Voh mujhe reject kese kar sakta hai ???? "

          All Reiki can do is give you enough strength to face all the problems in life, get you solutions. Nothing in the world can remove all the problems from your life. As they are very important.... Just look back in life and see every time you felt proud of yourself was after achieving something in life after a failure or a struggle. Its human nature, anything which comes for free just cannot be valued.....  Moreover as said " You have to earn it !!!! "

Freedom with Reiki !!!

              I Have often heard people calling it alternative therapy I would say it is not an alternative, rather a great way to support your medication.  Have you were taught why are there times when medications just does not work. Or at times the moment you discontinue them,  thinking you have recovered, problems just relapse. 

           Why there is no permanent cure to things like asthma, migraine, arthritis etc.  Because they are somewhere connected to the emotional reasons we have in life. Resentment, guilt, and fear are major causes more than anything else. Reiki helps you get over all of such issues.

          Getting started with Reiki the best part was the freedom I enjoyed. People often categorize it with things like Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama etc, but I would beg to differ It is not one of them. Reiki nowhere demands attention and changes from you, it just smoothly enters your life and becomes a part of it. 

           You don’t have to give up things like eating non-vegetarian food and for that matter even smoking and drinking till you feel like giving it up, you can still party you don’t have to become a Sant Mahatma.

            Most important you don’t have to get up early in the morning do it empty stomach and than wait for 45 minutes to eat your breakfast. You can do it in front of  your television, while you are traveling, listening to music, even after meals.  The most convenient way to heal yourself in any way and every way. 

           Learning Reiki I discovered, when every one was running behind the discoveries made by the UK and USA in the fields of medicine. No one ever thought what a great achievement was Reiki for India. It made me feel all the more proud about my country. 

          

            To give you all a proper introduction of Reiki as given to me by my teacher (Mr.Makker), and to explain it in technical terms. In his words Reiki (pronounced as RAY – KEY) Is the ancient hands on healing techniques that uses the Universal Life Force energy to heal, harmonies and balance the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels of the body.

           

              Words cannot properly describe concepts of Heat, Light and all the other forms of energy. Likewise, any attempt made to describe Reiki energy would be futile, and may I add, foolish. Nonetheless, I will risk sounding exactly that while attempting to describe Reiki in the following very limited way.

              The word ‘Reiki’ comes from two Japanese words Rei and Ki.

             REI: The widely accepted interpretation of Rei is Universal or that which is present everywhere. The Japanese Kanji characters have several levels of meanings ranging from the ordinary to the more cryptic. ‘Supernatural Knowledge’, ‘Spiritual Consciousness’ or simply ‘God Consciousness’ are more accurate and apt interpretations for the Kanji of the word ‘Rei’. It is the omnipotent, omnipresent God- consciousness that knows all individuals at the deepest levels. It also knows the causes of all the problems and diseases and what has to be done to heal them.

           KI: Ki is the same as Chi in Chinese, Ti or Ki in Hawaiian, Ka of the Egyptians and Prana in Sanskrit. All living beings are labelled ‘Alive’ because of this life force that fills them, circulates in them and completely surrounds them.

Rei + Ki: Therefore, the word Reiki may loosely be interpreted as ‘Spiritually Guided Life Force Energy’.

          A person called as a Reiki Channel is able to channelize this cosmic energy for self and others. The energy enters through the Crown Chakra located at the top of his/her head, travels down through a Divine Channel located between the Crown and Heart Chakras and out through his/her hands. It is not the person’s own energy but the Divine Energy that flows through him/her.

           

             MOST IMPORTANTLY  -A Reiki Channel is never ever depleted of his/her own energy while doing the Reiki Healing. On the contrary, a Reiki Channel is always first healed, even while doing Reiki for others.

           When any other teenager would think yoga Meditation Pranayama etc. are for the oldies, even I agreed with them. For me these were the things people do when they retire from work, sit at home doing nothing. My parents were involved in yoga meditation majorly in Pranayama (SSY worst place to learn it from).

       

          Looking at my laziness my father forced me to do the same, thinking I would become active. I Learnt it as I had no option to escape, but did not follow, as it was just not my type. After this experience I had a believe strongly planted in my head that every such thing dad wants me to do is irritating + boring.   

          

          After a few months one more such accident was taking place and this time it was my own house! !!!! “REIKI CLASSES” shit !!!!!! cant bunk them at any damn cost !!!!! damn it !!!!! I was scared I dint know what Reiki was, once in my child hood one aunty had done for me. I slept nicely after that was all I knew.

     

          For me it was waste of time and money, which my Parents including my brother were about to waste. As usual I was asked to sit in the class, looking at my expression Uncle (Mr.Makker) said “No Mr.Misra if you force her to sit I would not take the class” I Loved him for this.

      

          My family members were happily learning Reiki and I was living my life. Being a sinus patient since my child hood headache were part of my body, life whatever you can call. But even after long days every time some one did Reiki I use to sleep within fraction of seconds. I started calling it the “White Magic” it was turning out to be fun.  

        

         First degree was just the touch therapy but  the second degree was even cooler. “Kanhi se bhi, kabhi bhi, kisi bhi chiz ke liye” every such thing comes with a *condition apply here that was also so damn simple. Your intension had to be positive that’s all. I wanted to learn Reiki desperately to do it on my teachers and my parents, when I got late so that they dont scold me and trust me people it works on your boss / teachers / parents / BOY FRIEND 99% guaranteed :P.
