I Have often heard people calling it alternative therapy I would say it is not an alternative, rather a great way to support your medication. Have you were taught why are there times when medications just does not work. Or at times the moment you discontinue them, thinking you have recovered, problems just relapse.
Why there is no permanent cure to things like asthma, migraine, arthritis etc. Because they are somewhere connected to the emotional reasons we have in life. Resentment, guilt, and fear are major causes more than anything else. Reiki helps you get over all of such issues.
Getting started with Reiki the best part was the freedom I enjoyed. People often categorize it with things like Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama etc, but I would beg to differ It is not one of them. Reiki nowhere demands attention and changes from you, it just smoothly enters your life and becomes a part of it.
You don’t have to give up things like eating non-vegetarian food and for that matter even smoking and drinking till you feel like giving it up, you can still party you don’t have to become a Sant Mahatma.
Most important you don’t have to get up early in the morning do it empty stomach and than wait for 45 minutes to eat your breakfast. You can do it in front of your television, while you are traveling, listening to music, even after meals. The most convenient way to heal yourself in any way and every way.
